A 70-year-old man has died after the ATV he was driving flipped down a steep terrain at a location north-west of Russell, Manitoba.
On June 21, 2019, just after 1:35pm, Russell RCMP received a report of an off-road vehicle collision at a location approximately 35 kilometres north-west of Russell in the RM of Riding Mountain West.
Officers attended the scene and determined that a 70-year-old male, from Churchbridge, SK, was riding an ATV with another male in search of cattle on their property. During this time, the 70-year-old’s ATV flipped due to the steep terrain.
RCMP report that the 70-year-old male, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was pronounced deceased on scene.
