Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a suspect believed to be involved in a recent arson incident that occurred in Thompson, Manitoba.

On July 18, 2019, at approximately 3:35am, Thompson RCMP responded to a fire at a business located on Selkirk Avenue in Thompson. Upon arrival, officers discovered the business was engulfed in flames. Thompson Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.

Police investigation has determined that a male suspect filled a small bottle with gasoline at a nearby gas station, paid for it, and then walked over to the business and started the fire. He is believed to have suffered burns to his hands.
