Voter information card

Voters who are registered to vote will receive a voter information card in the mail. The card confirms that the recipient is registered to vote, and provides information on where and when to vote on election day and during advance voting.

Registration and updates

Eligible voters who did not receive a voter information card, or who received a card with incorrect information, should contact their returning office by August 22 to register or update their information. Elections Manitoba registration agents will also visit homes where no voters are registered. Returning office contact information can be found at electionsmanitoba.ca.

Elections Manitoba returning offices are open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. except Sunday, when they are open from noon until 6:00 p.m. Voters may go in person to the office or contact the office to arrange for a registration agent to visit their home. ID is required to register or update. Find a complete list of acceptable ID at: electionsmanitoba.ca.

Online voter registration service

Until August 22, voters can also register or update their information using Elections Manitoba’s online voter registration service, at electionsmanitoba.ca.

Registration at the voting place

Eligible voters who have not registered may still vote if they show their ID and take an oath and at the voting place, both during advance and on election day.
