Two suspects connected to a recent break and enter in Roblin, Manitoba were arrested by RCMP as a result of a video being posted on social media.

On September 8, 2019, at approximately 7:15pm, RCMP responded to a break and enter at a business located on Main Street in Roblin. Police investigation determined that a male and female suspect gained entry to the business by breaking the lock on the door. As a result, the suspects took a quantity of medication (opiods) and then fled in a vehicle.

Police say that the suspects were captured on video and the business owner immediately posted the photos on social media. At approximately 1am the following morning, a citizen in Yorkton SK, recognized the suspects from the video being shared on social media, and called police. As a result, Yorkton RCMP arrested 49-year-old Gerald Ainsworth of Midland, Ontario, as well as 42-year-old Ronni Chartrand of Swan River, Manitoba.

RCMP report that both suspects have been charged with multiple offences including break and enter, possession of a Schedule I substance (Opiod), possession of stolen property and possession of a weapon.
