Oakbank and Beausejour RCMP are currently investigating an incident involving a firearm being discharged at a residence located in Beausejour, Manitoba.

On September 14, 2019, at 10:15am, Beausejour RCMP responded to a residence on 2nd Street North in Beausejour on a report that a firearm had been discharged earlier that morning at approximately 6:20am.

Officers arrived on scene and discovered a residence with damage to the front living room window, front door, as well as to the exterior siding. Police say that the damage was consistent with being struck by bullets.

As a result of the crime scene being examined, officers seized numerous bullet casings from the street. RCMP suspect the home was targeted and no injuries were reported.
