Thompson RCMP have recently seized a quantity of drugs and cash, as well as some electrified knuckles, resulting from a search of a residence located in the community.
On October 28, 2019, at 6pm, Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, at a residence located on Deerwood Drive, in Thompson, Manitoba.
Police say that as a result of the search, officers seized oxycodone pills, cannabis, a large amount of cash, as well as some electrified knuckles.
RCMP report that 53-year-old Todd Burton of Thompson has been arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
Thompson RCMP say that Todd Burton has been remanded into custody and that the investigation is onging.
