On November 7, 2019, at 9:15pm, Beausejour RCMP received a report that a vehicle had struck a metallic shed housing at a natural gas distribution centre located in the town of Tyndall, Manitoba.

Police and fire personnel responded to the scene, but could not get close to the vehicle due to safety concerns. Police noted that natural gas could be heard leaking as a result of the collision. At approximately 3:30am, on November 8, the gas leak was fixed and officers were able to approach the vehicle.

RCMP report that there were no occupants in the vehicle and there have been no associated injuries reported to police since the collision. The vehicle was later reported stolen by the owner.

Police believe that the vehicle was traveling north on Road 35 East (400m north of Morden Road.), crossed the west side ditch and drove into the metallic shed, rupturing the gas line.
