Students attending the Kleefeld School will be returning to classes on Monday after Hanover School Division (HSD) evacuated the school this past Friday for safety reasons stemming from a nearby gas line leak.

On Friday, November 29, at 11:14am, due to the possible danger of the gas leak, all students were moved to their designated safe locations and classes were cancelled for the remainder of the school day.

HSD reported that as of 2pm on the same day, repairs to the nearby gas line were completed, resulting in the school being deemed safe to re-enter.

Hanover School Division says that the school will be open on Monday morning, and all classes will run as scheduled.
