The City of Steinbach has announced that Park Road East, between the Steinbach Fly-In Golf Course entrance and Laing Gate, will be closed from 7am to 7pm on Thursday, December 12, 2019 to allow time for the replacement of an existing culvert.
The City notes that there is a possibility that the closure could continue into Friday, December 13 due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
During the closure, there will be no through traffic on Park Road East. Local traffic will continue to have access to the golf course and pool traveling east on Park Road East. Laing Gate will continue to be accessible traveling west on Park Road East. All non-local traffic is asked to use Loewen Boulevard as an alternate route.
The City of Steinbach thanks motorists in advance for respecting temporary traffic control pylons and other safety signs set up for the protection of workers.
