The City of Steinbach has received a grant from the provincial government to plan a community celebration in honour of Manitoba’s 150th birthday.
The celebration, officially called Manitoba Homegrown Celebrate 150 Family Day, will be happening on Monday, February 17 (Louis Riel Day) in and around the T.G. Smith Centre in Steinbach.
The City notes that the event will include free, fun activities for the whole family. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and watch more event details as they become available.
