Public health officials advise two new cases of COVID-19 were identified as of 9:30am on June 5. The total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Manitoba is 300.
The data also shows:
- no individuals in hospital or intensive care;
- nine active cases and 284 individuals who have recovered from COVID-19; and
- the number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at seven.
As of yesterday, an additional 671 laboratory tests were performed. This brings the total number of tests performed since early February to 47,372.
Changes to the hours of operation at community testing sites in Brandon, Portage la Prairie, Steinbach and Winkler, as well as at Thunderbird House in Winnipeg, come into effect this weekend.
