A 55-year-old Winnipeg man has recently died after the motorcycle he was driving went into a ditch in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
On June 14, 2020, at approximately 3pm, Falcon Beach RCMP responded to a motorcycle collision at a location on Highway 44, north of Highway 312 in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Police say that a group of motorcycles were traveling west on Highway 44 when one rider lost control and went into the ditch. The 55-year-old male rider, of Winnipeg, was transported to hospital, but died en route.
RCMP report that speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this fatal collision.
