Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may be connected to a number of recent incidents involving the theft of a trailer and vehicle.
Police say that sometime between the evening of June 2 and the early morning of June 3, 2020, a cargo trailer was stolen from a location on Tower Avenue in Steinbach. The trailer is described as a white and silver 2017 Cargo Mate trailer.
On June 21 at approximately 9:06am, Steinbach received a report of a stolen vehicle. Investigation determined that the vehicle was parked in a garage at a residence located on Henry Street in Steinbach. The vehicle is described as a grey 2011 Kia Sorrento with Manitoba plate GJY345. In this incident, the theft occurred sometime between June 21 at midnight and 9am the following morning.
