A 62-year-old Winnipeg man has recently died as the result of his motorcycle rolling in a ditch south of Marquette, Manitoba.

At 7:20pm, on June 27, 2020, Stonewall RCMP received a report of a motorcycle collision at a location on Provincial Road 248, approximately two kilometres south of Marquette, Manitoba.

Officers believe that the motorcycle, being driven by a 62-year-old Winnipeg man, was traveling north when the driver appeared to have lost control of his bike as he entered a curve. The driver then entered the ditch and rolled.

RCMP report that the motorcycle driver, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced deceased on scene.

Stonewall RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate this incident.
