Steinbach RCMP are looking to identify two suspects who were recently caught on security camera causing damage to the Steinbach Curling Club, located on Elmdale Drive in Steinbach.

Police say on August 13, 2020 at approximately 11:30pm, three male suspects were caught on a security camera climbing the exterior pipe of the Steinbach Curling Club building. Making their way to the roof, the suspects caused the pipes to be ripped off of the wall. Police also noted that the suspects damaged an air intake valve on the roof as well as the eavestrough. As a result of the damage, rain water was able to get into the building.

Steinbach RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two of the suspects involved in this crime.

Update

RCMP report that all three suspects who climbed onto roof of the curling arena in Steinbach have been identified and turned themselves into the police. All three suspects have been arrested for mischief under $5,000 as the damage caused resulted in over $1,500 in man hours and repairs.
