A 73-year-old Roseisle, Manitoba man has recently died after the SUV he was driving collided head-on with a pickup truck near Oak Bluff.

On September 10, 2020, at 8:35pm, Headingley RCMP responded to a two vehicle head-on collision at a location on Highway 3, approximately one kilometre south of Oak Bluff.

Police say that the collision involved a pickup truck and an SUV.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers noted that emergency medical services personnel and the local fire department were already working to extract the driver of the pickup truck, a 56-year-old male from Brunkild. Once extracted, the man was transported to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

RCMP report that the driver and lone occupant of the SUV, a 73-year-old male from Roseisle, was pronounced deceased on scene.

Headingley RCMP are being assisted in this ongoing investigation by the RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team and Forensic Collision Reconstructionist.
