Steinbach RCMP have wrapped up four separate patrols as part of an initiative to crack down on at-risk driving behaviours within Steinbach and the local area.
Over the past number of weeks, Steinbach Traffic Services conducted initiatives within the local detachment area, expressly to combat high risk driving behaviour.
As a result of four targeted patrols during the month of October, numerous offences were discovered and dealt with.
RCMP report that 27 drivers were caught using a cell phone, 13 people were not using a seat belt, two drivers failed to stop at stop sign, three drivers had no registration and one driver was without a valid licence.
