Effective Monday, November 30, City Hall (225 Reimer Avenue) and the city’s Operations Building (51 Millwork Drive) will be closed to the public until further notice. City employees will still be available to serve residents at these locations by phone, email or by appointment. At this time the Steinbach Landfill will remain open, however users who visit this facility must follow all guidelines as required by Manitoba Public Health and contactless payment methods are preferred. Regularly scheduled council meetings will continue to be open to the public. Attendees are required to follow all public health protocols. Handi-transit services will continue to operate on a reduced basis.

In compliance with the Province’s Code Red Restrictions all other facilities remain closed to the public, including the Steinbach Aquatic Centre, T.G. Smith Centre, and all city park play structures, rinks, and outdoor stationary equipment.

Providing essential services continues to be our priority while protecting the health and wellbeing of our residents and employees. Updates on the COVID-19 situation as it relates to City of Steinbach facilities, services, and programs will be posted at steinbach.ca. Updates will also be shared through the city’s social media.
