Portage la Prairie RCMP are currently investigating a recent pharmacy break and enter which resulted in a variety of narcotics being stolen.

On February 17, 2021, at approximately 8:10am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter that had occurred overnight at a pharmacy located on Saskatchewan Avenue in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Police say that the suspects entered the building and disabled the alarm system. Entry was then gained into the safe holding narcotics which resulted in a variety of narcotics being stolen, including hydromorphone, fentanyl and oxycodone.

RCMP advise that the drugs stolen are dangerous and can cause a lot of harm when not prescribed by and used under the care of a doctor.
