Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help in numerous investigations involving break-ins and thefts. Stolen items in these investigations include vehicles and an ATV.

On October 26, 2021 at approximately 5:48am, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a break, enter and theft that occurred on Road 29E in the RM of Hanover.

Investigation revealed that suspects broke into a Hylife hog barn and stole three set of vehicle keys. The suspect vehicle was then observed on the property on October 24 at 8:34pm and again on October 26 at 11:46pm.

Police say that two stolen vehicles were later recovered burnt in the RM of Springfield.

The suspect vehicle is also believed to have been involved in incidents in Woodridge. In one of the incidents, the suspect broke into a storage shed that stored an ATV. The incident occurred on October 25, 2021 at 12:41am. The suspect fled when owner arrived on scene leaving the ATV behind.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a dark Chevy truck. The same vehicle was observed on the property on October 24, 2021 between 8am and 8:30am.

On November 1, 2021 at 4pm, Sprague RCMP received a report of an ATV that was stolen from a campsite in Woodridge. The incident would have occurred between October 23 and October 30.

The ATV is described as a blue 2008 Yamaha 700 with Manitoba plate 4E836. This same vehicle is also involved in the theft of gas on October 23 at the Mitchell Coop.
