A 20-year-old Winnipeg man has recently died after slipping and falling into the water at the Pinawa Dam Provincial Heritage Park, northeast of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP recently received a report of a possible drowning at the Pinawa Dam Provincial Heritage Park. Information received stated that a male had been seen slipping off the rocks and into the water.

Officers attended the scene immediately and determined that a 20-year-old male, from Winnipeg, was at the top of the small waterfall at the dam when he slipped on the wet rocks, falling into the water.
