Selkirk RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a female who is wanted for questioning in connection to a recent homicide incident that occurred in the community.
On June 30, 2025, at 11:50pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a stabbing incident that occurred outside a business located on Manitoba Avenue, in Selkirk. Officers, along with EMS, responded immediately and located a 39-year-old female with critical injuries who was transported to hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Police say that the death is being investigated as a homicide.
RCMP are now requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a female who was in the vicinity of the stabbing incident on June 30 at 11:50 pm. Officers with RCMP Major Crime Services would like to identify her in order to speak with her.

RCMP report that a 15-year-old female from Gimli has been arrested and charged with the homicide of the 39-year-old female.
