Thompson RCMP, after receiving a 911 hang-up call, are asking the public for any information that could help locate a 20-year-old female who is believed to be missing.
On September 4, 2025, at 7:10am, Thompson RCMP received a 911 hang-up call from a cell phone located in the Fox Bay area of Thompson. Officers responded to the area and spoke to several residents, but could not substantiate what had occurred earlier that morning and could not locate the caller.
Investigators have been attempting to locate a 20-year-old female who may have information in relation to this incident. Her current whereabouts are unknown, but it is believed that she may be in Pinaymootang First Nation.
RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating 20-year-old Ciara Beardy as it is now believed that she is missing.
Ciara Beardy is described as being 5 foot 4 inches tall, weighs 120lbs, has brown hair and brown eyes.
