RCMP investigating break-in at Giant Tiger store in Steinbach

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a recent break and enter that occurred at the local Giant Tiger store located on Main Street in Steinbach.

On October 19, 2025, at approximately 4:25am, Steinbach RCMP responded to an alarm at the Giant Tiger store in Steinbach. Alarms set off at the store included the front exit door, front exit interior door, front exit motion, as well as other areas.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a crow bar lying on the floor by the registers, which is believed to have been the item used to gain entry to the building. Police noted that a small number of miscellaneous items were missing from the store.

Surveillance video confirmed that the suspects were three masked people.
