Manitoba RCMP are reporting that the province’s most wanted criminal was located and arrested this past New Year’s eve after receiving information regarding his whereabouts.

On December 30, 2025, Powerview RCMP received information that 25-year-old Brock Mann, from Winnipeg, was hiding at a residence in Black River First Nation, and that he may be in possession of a firearm.

Police say that Mann, who was on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching statutory release conditions, was believed to be inside a residence on Sesame Crescent in the community. He had previously fled a community-based residential facility in Calgary, Alberta where he was required to stay.

On December 31, 2025, at approximately 4:30pm, Powerview RCMP, along with the Manitoba RCMP East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, Police Dog Service and the Emergency Response Team, attended the residence.

RCMP report that Mann refused to comply with numerous demands from officers to exit the residence. Members then deployed tear gas and were able to safely arrest Mann without further incident. A loaded firearm was subsequently seized from the residence.
