Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify two male suspects who were recently seen stealing goods from the local Sobeys store at Clearspring Centre in Steinbach.
On January 14, 2026, at 9:30pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report that an unknown male suspect walked out of the local Sobeys store with a basket full of groceries.
The male suspect was described as wearing brown coveralls, a blue jacket and a black hat.
In a different incident, on January 20 at 8:27pm, Steinbach RCMP were notified that an unknown male suspect entered the store, grabbed two pies and two boxes of cookies from the entrance and immediately left without paying.
The second male suspect was described as wearing a gray plaid jacket with a camo trucker style hat with the “CAT” logo on the front.
