Public health officials with Manitoba Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care are notifying the public of new measles exposure sites in Blumenort, Oak Bluff, Stanley and Brandon.
Health officials are asking that anyone at these locations on the specified dates and times is asked to monitor for symptoms until the identified date:
- Penfor Construction, 94 Penner Dr., Blumenort, on Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 22.
- Oak Bluff Recreation Club ice rink, Unit 101-123 MacDonald Rd., Oak Bluff, on Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 22.
Greenvalley Equipment, 25016 Provincial Trunk Highway 3, Stanley, on:
- Feb. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 24.
- Feb. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 27
- Caisse Financial Group, 151 Notre-Dame Ave. W., Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, on Feb. 3 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 25.
Brandon Regional Health Centre emergency department waiting room, 150 McTavish Ave. E., Brandon, on:
- Feb. 5 from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 27.
- Feb. 5 from 7:05 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 27.
- Feb. 6 from 8:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Monitor symptoms until Feb. 28.
- Feb. 6 from 7:15 p.m. to Feb. 7 at 2:45 a.m. For the Feb. 6 exposure, monitor symptoms until Feb. 28. For the Feb. 7 exposure, monitor symptoms until March 1.
Public health is also asking anyone who was at these locations during the specified times to check their immunization records and ensure they are up to date with measles vaccine (MMR or MMRV).
