Clocks move forward one hour as daylight saving time starts Sunday, March 8

Manitoba Municipal and Northern Relations reminds all Manitobans daylight saving time will start in the province early March 8 when clocks move forward one hour.

Under the Official Time Act, daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November with a return to standard time.

The official time change will occur at 2am, Sunday, March 8, at which time clocks will move forward to 3am.
