Beausejour RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help them locate a male suspect connected to a recent break and enter incident that occurred in the community.

On March 29, at 2:24am, Beausejour RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at a residence located in the 800 block of Ashton Avenue in Beausejour.

Police say that the homeowners heard loud noises coming from the front door and observed a male trying to break the door. The suspect then noticed the homeowners and ran away.

Beausejour RCMP, an RCMP drone operator and RCMP Police Dog Services attended the scene but were unable to locate the suspect.

Further investigation and review of many surveillance videos helped officers identify the suspect as 22-year-old Jacon Ashe from the RM of Reynolds. Ashe is now wanted by police for break and enter, mischief, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Jacon Ashe is described as 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, has red hair and blue eyes.

RCMP advise the public that if Jacon Ashe is seen, do not approach him, but rather call 911. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jacob Ashe is asked to contact the Beausejour RCMP at 204-268-1234 or CrimeStoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
