The City of Steinbach is informing residents, and those visiting downtown Steinbach this coming weekend for the annual “Summer in the City” street festival, that various road closures will be in effect.
The following road closures will be in place starting Thursday, June 18 until Sunday, June 21, 2026:
- Reimer Avenue from First Street to Elmdale Street will be closed on Thursday, June 18 at 7am until midnight, Sunday, June 21.
- Main Street from Friesen Avenue to Barkman Avenue will be closed on Thursday, June 18 at 6pm until midnight, Sunday, June 21. Cars must be off the street by 6:00pm on Thursday, June 18.
- Lumber Avenue from First Street to Elmdale Street will be closed on Friday, June 19 at 7am until midnight, Sunday, June 21. A portion of Lumber Avenue between First Street and Main Street will allow for local access only.
- Main Street from PTH 12/Brandt Street to Friesen Avenue will be closed on Saturday, June 20 from 10am to 6pm.
