The City of Steinbach is advising residents that a portion of Park Road East, between 350 Park Road East and Laing Gate, is scheduled to be closed to all traffic beginning the morning of Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Officials say that the closure will allow for the rebuilding of the road structure in the area. The road is expected to reopen early the following week.
Residents and drivers are reminded that during the closure, westbound Park Road East traffic from Old Tom Road will be redirected to turn left at Laing Gate. Also, traffic entering Park Road East from Laing Gate will be required to turn right. Access will remain available to all approaches on Park Road East between PTH 12 N and 350 Park Road East.
The City thanks all drivers and residents for their patience during this closure, and for exercising caution and following signage when travelling in the area.
