The City of Steinbach would like residents to be aware of a scheduled road closure on a portion of Chapel Drive between 188 and 192 Chapel Drive on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
City officials say that the closure is to allow for the safe replacement of a fire hydrant.
Drivers are reminded that there will be local access only north of the closure, and access to property approaches along Chapel Drive will remain available. The road is expected to close starting at 7am and will be reopened in the evening of the same day.
The City thanks all drivers and residents for their patience during the closure as the hydrant is replaced, and for exercising caution and following signage when traveling in the area.
