Today, September 22, 2016, is the final day of the season for the splash park located at E.A. Friesen Park in Steinbach.
The splash park, situated beside the Jake Epp Library, was a popular spot for families to cool off during the summer months and over the next few weeks, City staff will remove the facilities water meter and prepare the features for winter using air pressure to remove water in the lines and parts.
The City notes that the splash park will re-open in May 2017, weather permitting.
