Currently, the Manitoba Wildfire Service advises that wildfire danger is moderate for the southern half of the province and mainly low for the northern half of the province.

The Manitoba Wildfire Service advises Level 1 Fire and Travel restrictions have been implemented due to high fire danger in the southeast portion of the province.

The Manitoba Wildfire Service advises that wildfire danger in central and eastern Manitoba is high to extreme, and low to moderate across northern Manitoba. Favourable weather conditions and precipitation are expected in northern Manitoba over the next 48 hours.

The Manitoba Wildfire Service advises that although wildfire danger across Manitoba is low, Manitobans are encouraged to remain cautious throughout the long weekend as temperatures will begin to rise.

The Manitoba Wildfire Service advises that wildfire danger across southern Manitoba remains low to moderate, while wildfire danger in northern Manitoba remains low, with some areas still covered by snow. Municipalities and the Manitoba Wildfire Service are starting to see some fires across the south and central regions, but at this point, they have been human-caused.
