The Manitoba government has invested $10 million to purchase 65 replacement ambulances that modernize the province’s fleet, ensure paramedic safety and improve patient comfort.

Keeping its promise to provide families with more affordable emergency medical services, the Manitoba government has reduced ambulance fees, effective immediately, to no more than $250 per ride.

The Manitoba government will purchase 65 replacement ambulances as part of efforts to modernize its fleet while supporting paramedics in responding rapidly and effectively to medical emergencies across the province.

Ambulance fees have been reduced by $85 as part of the Manitoba government’s continuing efforts to deliver more affordable emergency service to families throughout the province.
