A collaboration between the University of Manitoba, Red River College and Keystone Agricultural Producers, driven by the need for an agricultural safety training tool, has produced a unique vehicle that will help predict, teach and demonstrate tractor roll overs.

The Manitoba Farm Safety Program is confident a new infrared barn inspection service it’s offering will help farmers uncover problems that could lead to barn fires before they occur.

In an effort to help farmers reduce the risk of barn fires, the Manitoba Farm Safety Program is now offering infrared barn inspections.

All motorists and farm families are encouraged to be especially cautious and aware on provincial roadways during Manitoba’s busy harvest season.

The Director of the Manitoba Farm Safety Program says the wide variety of tasks to be done on the farm, makes farming one of the more risky occupations.
