The RCMP would like to remind the public to be diligent and aware that there are numerous mail, text, internet and telephone scams and frauds that occur each year. These scams and frauds can occur in small and large communities anywhere in Manitoba.
Numerous types of scams and frauds operating on global, national, and local levels undermine the confidence of Manitobans by stealing their hard-earned money.
On March 11, 2017, at approximately 2:40pm, Oakbank RCMP received a report of a fraud that took place at a gas station at Deacons Corner in the RM of Springfield, Manitoba.
