The Public Utilities Board approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. to increase the Gas Commodity rate from $0.0667/m3 to $0.0961/m3 and approved a Commodity Cost Balancing Deferral rate rider of $0.0098/m3 (owing to Centra), effective May 1, 2025.

The Public Utilities Board (Board) approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) to increase the Gas Commodity rate from $0.0614/m3 to $0.0667/m3 effective February 1, 2025.

For the 2025/26 insurance year, the Public Utilities Board (PUB) has ordered a 5.7 per cent increase to Basic insurance rates, which will represent an increase of $50.84 per year or $4.24 per month for the average passenger vehicle policy.

The Public Utilities Board approved, on an interim basis, an application from Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) for a general revenue increase of 4.5 percent effective November 1, 2024.

The Public Utilities Board (Board) approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) to decrease the Gas Commodity rate from $0.0918/m3 to $0.0785/m3 effective August 1, 2024. The Board also approved a Commodity Cost Balancing Deferral rate rider of $0.0023/m3 (owing to Centra) effective August 1, 2024.

The Public Utilities Board (Board) approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) to increase the Gas Commodity rate from $0.0857/m3 to $0.0918/m3 effective May 1, 2024.

The Public Utilities Board (Board) approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) to decrease the Gas Commodity rate from $0.1021/m3 to $0.0857/m3 effective February 1, 2024.

In Order No. 145/23 dated December 18, 2023, the Manitoba Public Utilities Board (PUB) has rejected MPI’s Application for no overall change in rates, and has ordered an overall 5.0% rate decrease.

The Public Utilities Board (Board) approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) to decrease the Gas Commodity rate from $0.1352/m3 to $0.1021/m3 effective November 1, 2023.

The Public Utilities Board (Board) approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. (Centra) to decrease the Gas Commodity rate from $0.1464/m3 to $0.1352/m3 effective August 1, 2023. The Board also approved a decrease to the Commodity Cost Balancing Deferral rate rider from $0.0067/m3 to $0.0051/m3 (owing to Centra) effective August 1, 2023.
