Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from Giroux, 72-year-old Leo Cyr.

Mr. Bill Elias, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eden Foundation, has recently announced the appointment of Ms. Jayme Giesbrecht to the position of Director of Development beginning on May 24, 2022.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that two 18-year-old male drivers, one from Steinbach, the other from Vassar, are facing charges in connection to racing their vehicles. The incidents occurred this past weekend according to police.

Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a recent structure fire has claimed the life of a 41-year-old man. The incident occurred at a residence located on Aspen Four Drive in Steinbach.

The War Amps begins its 2022 key tag mailing to Steinbach and the surrounding communities this week, with the theme “You Make Our Programs Possible”. Donations to the Key Tag Service provide vital support to amputees across the country including 12-year-old Telysha Warkentin of Blumenort.
