The new Metro Winnipeg edition will be printed from FPLP’s Steinbach printing plant which was acquired from Derksen Printers Ltd. on February 28.
FP Newspapers Inc. announced that FP Canadian Newspapers Limited Partnership entered into a multi-year contract to print the Winnipeg edition of the Metro free daily newspaper.
Free Daily News Group Inc., which publishes the English-language Metro newspapers in Canada, previously announced the launch of a new daily free publication newspaper in Winnipeg effective April 4, 2011.
