If there is a postal service disruption, the Manitoba government has arranged for government cheques and other essential mail to be available for pickup starting Thursday, May 26.

If you currently receive your payments or benefits by direct deposit, you will not be affected by the postal disruption.

All offices are open Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. Call 1-866-626-4862 (toll-free) or visit www.manitoba.ca before going to pick up your cheque and you will be provided with a number to call to ensure your cheque is ready. Please bring proper identification with you when you pick up your cheque. If you are not sure which location has your cheque, please call 1-866-626-4862 or visit www.manitoba.ca.

Pharmacare, travel subsidies, out-of-province medical claims, insured benefits, doctor payments, etc. can be picked up on the main floor at 300 Carlton St.

Maintenance enforcement cheques can be picked up at the Maintenance Enforcement Offices on the second floor, 405 Broadway between 7:45 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

If you regularly receive cheques by mail from the public trustee, please phone your client administration officer directly to make alternate arrangements.
