In the early morning of Saturday June 4, 2011, Carman Area RCMP interrupted a break and enter in progress at a commercial property in the RM of Stanley.
A coordinated response involving the Carman Area RCMP, Winkler Police Service, Morden Police Service and the RCMP Police Dog Section resulted in the arrest of two people.
RCMP report that a number of stolen items were recovered and break-in instruments were seized.
A 21-year-old female from Selkirk and a 35-year -old male from Winnipeg were taken into police custody and face a number of pending criminal charges in relation to the incident.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
