On the morning of July 7, 2011, Steinbach RCMP in conjunction with the RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Steinbach, Manitoba.

A computer and computer related equipment were seized during the search of the residence.

Police arrested a 16-year-old male at the home. He is facing charges of possession, accessing and distribution of child pornography.

The youth has been released from custody and will appear at a later date in Steinbach Provincial Court.
