The Challenger British Soccer Camps in Steinbach were outstanding last week, according to Recreation Programmer, Jason Peters.

“I heard from many parents that they were an unforgettable experience for their children and that they have learned so much.”

Peters said that Camp Coach James Gow, from Liverpool, England, was a favourite of the kids and taught so many great skills and lessons on strategy, all the while making it fun.

“We can’t wait to have the Challenger Camps back next year,” said Peters. “These camps will only serve to increase the already growing love for the “Beautiful Game” here in Steinbach and area.”

Up next is the City’s SK8 BMX Camp which will take place the week of August 8th. Cost is $50 and there are still spots available. Activities include skateboarding/cycling at Quarry Skate Park, activities at Backstage and swimming at the Steinbach Aquatic Centre.
