Falcon Beach RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a break, enter and theft incident that occurred in Falcon Lake last week.
On July 27, 2011, Falcon Beach RCMP were called to a break and enter at a campsite in the Seasonal Trailer Village in Falcon Lake.
Along with some electronic devices, a wallet containing numerous credit cards was stolen. The investigation showed one of the stolen credit cards was used to make purchases at several businesses in West Hawk Lake.
Video surveillance captured the vehicle used and the suspect involved. The vehicle was confirmed as a stolen truck from the Steinbach area three days prior. The vehicle has not been recovered and is described as a 1998 white GMC pick-up truck bearing a Manitoba licence plate FSY 590. The truck has lettering in the back window stating: “Your custom builder”.
