On February 26, 2008, a second female youth was arrested by Grand Rapids RCMP in connection with the stabbing of a male and the severe beating of another male, in The Pas, on February 21, 2008.
She has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and assault causing bodily harm.
The 15-year-old teenage girl, a resident of Grand Rapids, has been remanded in custody to appear in The Pas Provincial Youth Court on March 2, 2009.
The other 16-year-old female youth charged in connection with this incident has been charged with, in addition to the attempted murder charge, assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and uttering threats.
