On August 15, 2011, at approximately 2am, Blue Hills area RCMP and the Glenboro Fire department were dispatched to a house fire on Christie street in the village of Glenboro.
The vacant 2 story house was completely destroyed by the fire.
Police say that there was no one living in the home at the time of the fire and there were no reported injuries. Preliminary damages are believed to be in excess of $100,000.
Carberry RCMP and the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner continue with the investigation into the cause of the blaze.
