Four people have been arrested in connection with a break and enter incident that occurred at the the Valley Motor Lodge in Minnedosa earlier this week.

On December 19, 2011, at 4:45am, Minnedosa and Neepawa RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter in progress at the Valley Motor Lodge in Minnedosa.

Police say that the owner of the Lodge heard a noise and when he investigated and found two men inside the hotel near the beer cooler. After a short pushing match one of the suspects was locked in the beer cooler until police arrived. The other suspect apologized to the owner and fled. Nothing was stolen from the premise.

A review of the security tape at the motel along with further investigation revealed that there were two other male suspects involved. Police have made three arrests in connection to this incident. A fourth suspect in this investigation was located and arrested on December 22, 2011 by Elphinstone RCMP. He remains in police custody.

The investigation continues.
