As a result of the recent unseasonably warm weather, the pleasure skating rink next to the Smith Arena and the community garden in Steinbach has not been completed.
The City of Steinbach reports that in order for families to enjoy some pleasure skating during the holidays, the Parks & Rec Department has allocated the following times for indoor skating:
• December 29 from 5pm to 7pm at the Smith Arena
• December 30 from 3pm to 6:30pm at the Smith Arena
• December 31 from 11am to 2pm at the Centennial Arena
• January 2 from 1:30pm to 4pm at the Smith Arena
• January 3 from 1:30pm to 4pm at the Smith Arena
Please note: No sticks or pucks are allowed during these time slots. Shinny is available on the outdoor rink beside the Centennial Arena.
