Stonewall RCMP are asking for public assistance in an ongoing investigation connected to a break and enter at the post office in Stony Mountain that occurred in December.

On December 30, 2011, Stonewall RCMP received a complaint of mail boxes being broken open at the Stony Mountain Post Office. The Investigation revealed that as many as 35 individual mail boxes had been broken into sometime between December 29 and December 30, 2011.

The RCMP continue to investigate with the aid of the Canadian Postal Service to determine if any mail was stolen.
